Chico After School Program
Our school-age program is designed for two distinct age groups: Kindergarteners and children in grades 1 through 6. We offer reliable transportation to and from local schools in Chico, with coordinated bus routes to ensure children are picked up and dropped off on time. For Kindergarteners, we provide a balanced mix of activities, including designated homework time, outdoor play, and engaging lessons in various subjects. All activities are tailored to align with Kindergarten standards and are suited to each child’s developmental level. We offer both morning and afternoon care for Kindergarten students.
Chico School Transportation
The school-age program starts when the bus returns children to our center at 3:00 PM. After arrival, children enjoy some outdoor playtime to release energy. Following outdoor activities, they have time for snacks, homework, reading, and other enriching educational activities. As the day winds down, children engage in free play, social interactions, games, and creative projects before being picked up at 6:00 PM.
Daily Schedule
- 12:05 PM – 3:00 PM: Bus Routes Arrive
- 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Outdoor Play & Snack
- 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Homework & Reading Time
- 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM: Free Play & Project Time
- 5:30 PM: Clean Up & Teacher-Led Activities/Pick-Up
