Chico After School Program

Our school age program is split up into two main areas. We have our Kindergarteners, and first through sixth graders. Transportation is provided for children to and from school. We coordinate all Chico schools and have bus routes that allow children to be dropped off and picked up on time. Our Kindergarteners have homework time, outside time, and general subject activities that are fun and interesting. A lot of the activities planned for the kindergarteners support standards for kindergarten and are appropriate to what each child can do. We have both AM and PM care for children in kindergarten.

Chico School Transportation

Our school age program begins at 3:00 when the bus returns with children to our facility. Children have an outside time to play and get some energy out. After this time, they have a relaxing time with snack, homework time, and reading or other education activities. The end of the day allows for these children to have some free play, socialization, games, and other art activities to be worked on before leaving at 6:00 PM. As an additional service to our families, we are also open all day during many closed school holidays, and summer vacation. Each day is split up to be fun and educational. We also plan many field trips to make the time in the summer more exciting.

12:05-3:00 - Bus Routes Arrive

3:00-4:00 - Outside Time and Snack

4:00-4:30 - Homework/Reading Time

4:30-5:30 - Free Play and Project Time

5:30 - Clean Up & Teacher Activity Time/Pick-Up
